A stirring ballad that begins with an ethereal soprano solo and children’s choir, then builds through a lilting 12/8 feel to eventually end up with a pulsating rock anthem featuring a tenor soloist, this is a perfect way to end your year on a high with some special guests.
Scored for full Wind Band with English horn, Eb Clarinet, 2 mallet, 3 percussion and optional synthesizer parts at an intermediate level, this arrangement features modern syncopations in groups, with no solo melodies throughout the band. To perform the arrangement as intended, you will need a soprano and tenor vocalist, and a children’s choir.
